Today two of my sketchbooks have suffered extensive damage from spilled water. A water bottle in my bag leaked half its contents and my books have suffered. I am very upset. I am trying to console myself by trying to see how they are more artistic even with the damage from watersoluble inks. At least most of the best pieces have been preserved as I did them in water insoluble ink. . But then … the coloured inks have spread throughout a few pages.. very sad. Sunning the pages in spitalfields market now.
